I have to say, this lesson is not a hands on lesson. It really is just an overview, and leaves it up to you to get more on how to do the methods taught.
I don’t fault the system for that, because this lesson really isn’t a functional block of The Affiliate Code system. It is feeding you with great methods that you can use if you choose to build your business. And honestly, these methods probably require a little more creativity of your own to do, than the precise steps taught in the first 7 modules.

He covers the importance of tracking in detail. You will fully understand why you need to do this tracking and why it is so exciting once you get all put together. I also loves that he shares my view of Google Analytics.
Video 2. Overview the System. This lesson shows you the layout of the tracking system. Don’t jump ahead. It is so much easier to do this if you have a good idea of what you are about to do. This tracking system is simple, and I have verified it works. The links on this page take advantage of it.

Micheal Jones shows you a simple example, explains it then gets you ready to easily turn the system into a detailed tracking system.
Video 3. Putting it all Together. Here you are shown a diagram of the complete system. It makes everything easy to visualize, and shows you exactly what is going to happen when you use the tracking system. He shows the simple codes you need, and makes it easy for you to put it into action.
Video 4. Implementation. Like every training module, Michael now shows you exactly what to do as if he is sitting next to you and telling you what to type, and what to put in your file. It is practically cut and paste. In about 10 minutes time, you will be completely hooked up. Your traffic and profit system is in place with full tracking.
For me, that is exciting. Everything done, and nothing left to do but multiply it and start the profits. This The Affiliate Code system is easy, and put together in an extremely clear fashion. You will have no difficulty copying this and putting it into effect.

There is nothing in The Affiliate Code that is trivial. No matter how long or short the module, it really covers the must do steps quite clearly.
My The Affiliate Code Review continues with Module 5. Michael Jones has put together a brief, nuts and bolts lesson on the essentials of copy writing.
I can tell that he, Michael Jones, understands well that copywriting is vital to success. I also can tell from his presentation, that he doesn’t seem to like doing it himself. With the money he’s makine from The Affiliate Code… he doesn’t have to!
Let’s get into Module 5: Copywriting 101…
Video 1. Overview. I don’t think this video will be real exciting to anyone. This doesn’t negate its importance to any marketer, old and new. There are still plenty of long time marketers that don’t give this enough attention. The overview covers basic terms and explains very clearly why you need to understan copywriting.
Video 2. Create Urgency. You know from your own emotional responses to ads, that any ad that can create a real sense of urgency is powerful. Michael Jones gives some great insight in this video on how you can put urgency into your affiliate marketing.
Video 3. The How to Approach. This lesson is exactly what the title suggests. This video shows why and how to use the how to approach plus much more on how to create very powerful headlines. You need this information, particularly as a newbie.
He also covers how to use the most powerful words that create results. You might be shocked by what he tells you about risk!
Video 4. Sizzling Copy. More great requirements for getting your copy done with real, target hitting power. Then he moves on to show you how to get the most from your traffic, including things like the navigation through your website. Very important to follow these ideas closely.
He shows you how to plan out your sales page, and exactly how to capture the full attention of your highly targeted visitor.
Video 5. The Job of the Headline. This lesson, though it sounds repetitive here, is a great overview of how to make your headlines very powerful. He covers everything from the text, to the colors, to the size of the text. He shows some really great examples. Pay attention.
Video 6. Top Headlines of All Time. This is just what it says. You get the best templates ever to make your headlines from. Use these templates, and you will be on your way to great copy. This video covers the subject of exclusivity, as well. This topic may be a little weak, but he does get the point across.

Video 7. The Power of Scarcity. Of course, this video covers the use of scarcity. But it also covers how to use emotion to capture your readers attention. This is something I did poorly, and when you get it, you will get lots more sales.
Also, Michael Jones covers the use of specific promises. This is very, very important. It may seem like semantics to you at first, but the reality is that it makes the difference between a sale and a customer lost forever.
More is covered in this video, including getting leads, and literally cutting to the chase – that is, showing your customer you really can solve their problems.
Video 8. Cut to the Chase. Michael Jones really goes deep into how to get to the points your customer wants to know. This lesson will keep you many more customers if you do this correctly, and don’t shrup off the importance of it.
You also learn the importance of removing risk, and providing real proof of the possible results the buyer can expect.
Video 9. The Call to Action. If you are successful with all the rest of the parts of your copy, you now close the sale. This lesson gives some great examples and shows you how to get your customer to take the plunge.
Then he goes into a quick overview of how you make the squeeze page, or opt in page you use to capture lead names. If you aren’t doing this, you aren’t serious about making a real business online.
Michael finishes up with a good checklist of what to do to complete your copy. Follow this, and you will be way ahead of most of your online competition.
That’s it for this lesson. It is the longest lesson in The Affiliate Code. However, if you do everything else correctly in The Affiliate Code training and ignore this lesson, you will be throwing away sales. You may actually be preventing sales from happening.

Plus, Michael covers all the online terms in detail (which for me was boring), and this is MOST important for a new, online business person. If that’s you, pay attention in this video.
Video 2: Why You Need an Autoresponder. This is basic, but too many people skip this and fail. So for the newbie, watch this video closely, and you’ll fully understand why — if you choose not to do this, you may as well give up now! Michael Jones covers some great specifics about creating follow up messages and staying in touch. He lays out a great action sequence for making it all happen.

Video 3: Different Systems. In this video, Michael Jones takes you step-by-step through the action steps defined in the previous videos. He actually creates marketing lists, follow up emails, and every detail of being prepared to interact with your customers. This really wraps up the training in Module 4 of The Affiliate Code very well.
For the old hack marketer, there really isn’t anything new. If you are an Aweber user, you might learn a new trick. If you are brand new to marketing, you had better be riveted to this trainging module and watch it at least twice!

Video 2: Why Do You Need a Website. This should be obvious, but nothing is assumed in The Affiliate Code. You’ve certainly been told you can do affiliate marketing without a website… and you can. However, the real profits are in using a website. Michael Jones shows you very clearly why.
He covers 4 major reasons why you need a website (which costs less than $15). He also shows you exactly how to set up this site starting with your domain name.

Video 3: Tools. Really, here Michael Jones simply continues the process of setting up your site. He actually registers him name, shows you how to get your site live, and provides you the best free tools for getting all this going.
He shows you things that you never get to see in other training unless you are in a monthly membership or expensive mentoring program. Some of this is a little confusing, but I’m certain, by watching the most tricky points over, anyone can latch on to his explanations.
Video 4: How to Set Up a Website: Now you get The Affiliate Code version of how to setup your website. Michael Jones does everything as if you are sitting next to him and he guides you through the correct keys to punch. When you finish this video, you will have a real, live website, and you’ll be amazed at how easy it is for you to do this over and over again.
That’s it for The Affiliate Code Review of Module 3. So far, everything in The Affiliate Code is very clear, very concise, and really easy to implement. I believe 98% of all viewers can fairly easily get to this point and have a website up and live.

I’m continuing my module by module The Affiliate Code Review. Module 1 is very well designed for the newbie affiliate marketer. If you are an old hack, you won’t find anything new in Module 1.
In Module 2, Micheal Jones continues a very basic explanation of the affiliate marketing world. Now don’t go crazy on me, I’m not putting anyone down, just telling what I found. Basic is good for a newbie marketer, and this covers all the basics well.
Let’s get inside The Affiliate Code Review of Module 2, Picking Your Product…
Video 1: Picking Your Product. This starts with all the basics of exactly what affiliate marketing is, and the most essential terms are explained. Michael Jones does a pretty good job of not assuming anyone viewing this lesson knows what he’s talking about. It was a little boring for me, because I know these things inside and out. But for a new online business owner with no experience, this is PERFECT.
Video 2: It’s Not a Guessing Game. This module shows you exactly how to remove the guessing when picking a product to promote. Michael Jones makes it easy for any marketer, old or new, to trim down the playing field to only products that will be VERY HIGH probability of success. Follow these guidelines when you are just starting in affiliate marketing and I’m certain you will choose real winner products.
He explains the importance of research and tracking, and makes it clear how you save time, money and frustration by doing the fast, easy research up front. I’m an avid tracker, so I wasn’t bored by this at all!
Video 3: Rules for Success. Michael Jones demonstrates two affiliate sources that any affiliate market can succeed at. He lays down the rule of thumb to use to virtually assure you can pick a winner. He explains the terms unique to these affiliate sights, and really makes everything easy. I try to look at this from the perspective of when I first started, and this really does make it easy.

He also demonstrates likely sales processes, explains the reasons for list building and email follow up. He makes it very clear why you have to be very focused in your market. This is so important, and probably is one of the major failure points of most new affiliate marketing efforts. He really does well explaining this. He did one think I never heard anyone ever recommend, but I don’t think it really matters. So I’ll leave it at that.
Video 4: CJ Live Presentation. In this lesson, Michael Jones takes you inside the affiliate markets and shows you step by step how to pick the products. He actually picks products to use, and explains everything about what he is thinking when he makes a choice.
One thing I didn’t like from an educational perspective is that he didn’t stick to his guidelines, but tells you essentially “do as I say, not as I do.” I understand he was doing this on the fly so it wouldn’t be a canned, pre-determined result. And I think that is GREAT.
That’s Module 2 of The Affiliate Code Review.
Overall, this is really perfect for a newbie affiliate marketer. If you ever thought any of this stuff was too hard, and you shied away, this module will change it all. I believe Michael Jones really did a good job of “forgetting” how much he knows.
What do I mean? Well, he never goes over anyone’s head. He leaves out the jargon, and puts everything in very easy to understand terms. Really well Done!

I started reviewing The Affiliate Code prior to launch. I am not an insider, so I did not have an early copy. I had to buy it immediately to put together a complete review.
Now I have completed module 1 and started Module 2. I’ve decided to give you a Step-by-step The Affiliate Code Review of my progress. So here is the scoop on module1:
The Affiliate Code Review Module 1…
- The Introduction. Nothing special. Pretty standard for any course. A complete overview
- Choosing your niche. Very important, and I believe Michael Jones is one of the few, besides myself, that really emphasizes knowing your niche before you start. He is ‘Right On’! A little weak for a newbie, but for affiliate marketing, it covers all you need to know.
- Niche Importance. Mostly a continuation of the previous lesson, and he really hammers home how to narrow down your niche. This is one of the hardest concepts for newbies to grasp. The Affiliate Code does well here, though I have found, no matter what you tell the new guys, they still start without narrowing down their niche enough. Great job by Michael Jones.

- Make Money from Home Niche. This lesson uses the make money from home niche to show good examples. He does a great job here. I’m certain, that if you grasp the ideas from the previous lessons, and follow this example, you can do extremely well the rest of the way.
- The Real Money. Michael details the types of products you can expect to make the most money with. He talks about low, medium, and high cost products. He makes you understand exactly how you can use all of these tier products to market to your niche. The Affiliate Code definitely shows how important it is to leverage your list.
- What Makes a Great Niche. Here he shows you how you know you are in a “great niche.” This video does a great job of differentiating the freebie seeker – lookie lu niches from the real money niches.
- Tools You’ll Need. He shows you the principal tools he personally uses to put the system into action. He covers 5 essential tools and then gives an overview of how you will use the tools.
- Small Market Test. This one may or may not be out of place in the training. I think it is a matter of perspective. Michael does insist that you don’t try this yet, he just thought it was important to show you at this point. It’s definitely a major important concept, that most marketers don’t teach you. Just do like he says, and don’t do it now, just absorb. You learn here, exactly how to do test of your chosen market.
- Live Setup of a Campaign. This is an excellent start of putting the process together. He rambles a bit at the beginning, trying to explain what he did. It is a bit confusing why is saying some of the stuff, but the bottom line is — Michael Jones shows you how to do what he just talked about. This is an EXCELLENT, over-the-shoulder view of how to start off in your niche.
