The Affiliate Code Reviews

I started reviewing The Affiliate Code prior to launch.  I am not an insider, so I did not have an early copy.  I had to buy it immediately to put together a complete review.

Now I have completed module 1 and started Module 2.  I’ve decided to give you a Step-by-step The Affiliate Code Review of my progress. So here is the scoop on module1:

The Affiliate Code Review Module 1…

1. The Introduction.  Nothing special.  Pretty standard for any course.  A complete overview
2. Choosing your niche.  Very important, and I believe Michael Jones is one of the few, besides myself, that really emphasizes knowing your niche before you start.  He is ‘Right On’!  A little weak for a newbie, but for affiliate marketing, it covers all you need to know.
3. Niche Importance.  Mostly a continuation of the previous lesson, and he really hammers home how to narrow down your niche.  This is one of the hardest concepts for newbies to grasp.  The Affiliate Code does well here, though I have found, no matter what you tell the new guys, they still start without narrowing down their niche enough.  Great job by Michael Jones.

4. Make Money from Home Niche.  This lesson uses the make money from home niche to show good examples.  He does a great job here.  I’m certain, that if you grasp the ideas from the previous lessons, and follow this example, you can do extremely well the rest of the way.
5. The Real Money.  Michael details the types of products you can expect to make the most money with.  He talks about low, medium, and high cost products.  He makes you understand exactly how you can use all of these tier products to market to your niche.  The Affiliate Code definitely shows how important it is to leverage your list.
6. What Makes a Great Niche.  Here he shows you how you know you are in a “great niche.”  This video does a great job of differentiating the freebie seeker – lookie lu niches from the real money niches.
7. Tools You’ll Need.  He shows you the principal tools he personally uses to put the system into action.  He covers 5 essential tools and then gives an overview of how you will use the tools.
8. Small Market Test.  This one may or may not be out of place in the training.  I think it is a matter of perspective.  Michael does insist that you don’t try this yet, he just thought it was important to show you at this point.  It’s definitely a major important concept, that most marketers don’t teach you.  Just do like he says, and don’t do it now, just absorb.  You learn here, exactly how to do test of your chosen market.
9. Live Setup of a Campaign.  This is an excellent start of putting the process together.  He rambles a bit at the beginning, trying to explain what he did.  It is a bit confusing why is saying some of the stuff, but the bottom line is — Michael Jones shows you how to do what he just talked about.  This is an EXCELLENT, over-the-shoulder view of how to start off in your niche.
